Every Vestrion shirt is a Bella+Canvas 3001 tee with a crest design printed on the chest after you order. Nothing is printed ahead of time, so there is no shelf of shirts anywhere. Here is what that means for what you get.
The blank
The 3001 is a 4.2 oz jersey tee with side seams, a ribbed crew neck and shoulder tape. Solid colors are 100% Airlume combed ring-spun cotton. The heather colors (Athletic Heather, Dark Grey Heather, Black Heather, Heather Peach, Heather Ice Blue, Heather Prism Lilac, Heather Prism Ice Blue, Heather True Royal) are cotton and polyester blends. Our print partner lists the blank as sourced from Honduras. We repeat that on every product page rather than claim anything else.
The ink
The print is direct-to-garment or direct-to-film, chosen by the facility that prints your order. Both put water-based ink into or onto the cotton; neither is a plastic transfer. The print has a soft hand and will fade slightly over years of washing, like any printed tee. Washing cold and inside out slows that down.
The white panel
All eight designs were drawn on a white background, and the whole rectangle prints. On the White tee the panel blends in. On Ash, Natural and the light heathers it is faint. On every darker tee it shows as a white rectangle behind the crest. It is not a defect and it is not a surprise: every listing shows the design on all 19 colors, and the golden retriever listing has a White-and-Black side-by-side. If you want the art with no visible panel, the White tee is the one to order.
The four steps
- You order. One design, one color, one size. A confirmation email follows within minutes.
- The file goes to print. The design goes to our print partner's facility nearest your address, usually in the United States.
- Ink meets cotton. One shirt at a time. This is the part that takes a few business days.
- Packed and shipped. You get a tracking email when it leaves.
