The 3001 fits true to size. If you are between sizes, go up. Below is the chart we use on every product page, plus the quickest way to check it against a shirt you already own.
The chart, in inches, measured flat
| Size | Chest | Length |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 16.5 | 27 |
| S | 18 | 28 |
| M | 20 | 29 |
| L | 22 | 30 |
| XL | 24 | 31 |
| 2XL | 26 | 32 |
| 3XL | 28 | 33 |
| 4XL | 30 | 34 |
Chest is across the front, 1 inch below the armhole. Length is from the top of the shoulder to the hem. These are the blank maker's published numbers and can vary by about half an inch from shirt to shirt.
Measure a shirt you already like
- Lay it flat, smooth it out.
- Measure across the chest 1 inch below the armhole. Find that number in the Chest column.
- Measure shoulder to hem. Check the Length column.
- If chest and length point to different sizes, trust the chest.
Why the size list changes when you pick a color
Our print partner stocks each color in a different range. Black runs XS to 4XL. White and Athletic Heather run S to 3XL. Most colors run S to 2XL. Heather Prism Lilac, Heather Prism Ice Blue, Mustard and Natural come in one or two sizes only. The size picker shows only what can be printed in the color you chose, so if a size is missing, it is not sold out, it simply is not made in that color.

Fit notes
- Retail fit: closer than a boxy tee, looser than a fitted one.
- Unisex sizing. Many women order one size down from their usual men's size for a closer fit, or their usual size for a relaxed one.
- Wash cold and tumble low and the length holds. Hot dryers are what shrink a cotton tee.
The full size guide is linked from every product page. What the shirt is made of is in what is printed on a Vestrion tee.
